How to connect your Facebook Page to Campaigntrack for social ads & auto-posting.

Granting Campaigntrack permission to place Facebook Ads is easy.

Campaigntrack has changed the way we deploy Facebook Ads, allowing us to use much better hyper-local targeting with better retargeting and lookalike-audience matching too.  If you were an early-adopter customer, you may need to grant Campaigntrack new permission to place ads on your behalf in your Facebook Business Manager.

Campaigntrack needs permission to place ads on your behalf because your Facebook Ads are connected to your company Facebook Page.

This is a one-off requirement to enable Facebook Ads to be associated with your Facebook Page, as well as allowing (if enabled) automated social media posting.

Step 1: Login to Campaigntrack, and click on the Social & Digital Marketing Settings.

Step 2: On the My Facebook tab, Click Add New to start the connection.

Step 3: Select your Facebook Page (if you have more than one you have access to, be sure to pick the right one). If you are not already logged into Facebook, you’ll be prompted to do this first.

Facebook may take up to a minute to create the connection, please wait. Once this is done, click Close if the popup dialogue box is still open.

Step 4: Facebook requires a one-off permission that you need to grant within Facebook.  If you don’t see this message, its likely that you have previously granted permission. Click on the message, which is a link that will take you into Facebook.

Step 5: Scroll to the Pending Partner Requests and click on the Respond to Request button.

Accept the access request on the popup.

And finally, confirm by clicking Approve Request – enter your Facebook password to confirm.

Step 6: Close the Facebook Tab in your browser and you should see the Campaigntrack tab again, Press F5 to refresh this page (allow up to a minute for Facebook to confirm connection).

Under Facebook Ads Agent Page Override select your recently connected page from the drop-down. This saves automatically. You can now return to the main menu.

That’s it! The My Facebook page will now show the connected Facebook page. This screen will also let you grant Campaigntrack permission to automatically post your listings on your company Facebook page, as well as disconnect the page if you wish to change the connected pages.
